Bathinda: In recognition and respect for fighting heroes in Saragarhi, the size of a bronze statue of Havidar Ishar Singh was launched at Teacher Nanak Gurdwara in Wednesfield, the suburbs of Wolverhampton in England, on the day of the battle on Sunday.
In a fierce battle, 21 Sikh soldiers and a Muslim cuisine from the 36th Sikh Regiment (now 4 Sikh) fought bravely with the courage that deserves 10,000 Afghan tribes before putting their lives as the last seat.
