New Delhi: More than 129 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine have been provided for the state and the United States so far through free cost channels and through direct state procurement categories, the Union Ministry said on Saturday.
More than 21.65 balance of crores and covid vaccine doses that are not used are still available with the state and the United States, he said.
The ministry stressed that the union government was committed to accelerating the steps and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country.
Vaccination drives have increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility the availability of vaccines into the state and union territory to allow better planning by them and streamline the vaccine supply chain, the Ministry of Health said.
As part of a national vaccination drive, the Indian government has supported the state and UT by providing their Covid-19 vaccine free of charge, it is underlined.
