SATARA: A total of 13 bodies have recovered from two landslide sites in the Western Maharashtra Satara District hit by heavy rain and some people are still missing, said a senior official on Saturday night.
The number of bodies found in the village of Ambeghar, where four or five houses were buried under the rubble, rose to 11 and at least four people were still missing, the Singh District collector said.
Two bodies were found on a landslide site in Dhokaware Village, while no corpse was found in Mirgaon, he said.
Landslides took place in three of these villages, located in Patan Salh, on Thursday and Friday intervention.
Previously the administration said a total of 30 people were missing, including 16 in Ambhar and ten in Mirgaon.
