Thiruvananthapuram: With the increase in Covid-19 cases, 13 wards were declared the detention zone and two fields notified as a micro detention zone in this district on Monday.
Ward Number 6 and 8 in Uzhamalakal Pancayat, Environmental Number 10 in Vamanapuram Panchayat, Environment Number 22 in Attingal Municipality, Number 8 and 9 in Parassala Panchayat, Environment Number 7 in Peringamala Panchayat, Environment Number 3 in Vakkom Panchayat, Number 3 45 and 7 In Nedumangadu Municipality was declared a detention zone.
Lakshamveedu Area in Number 15 of Madavoor Pancayat, Karimbulakam at Ward Number 16 Vembayam Panchayat was declared a micro detention zone on Monday.
Ransum stores, Mavapai stores, Supplyco stores, Milma outlets can remain open until 5 pm.
Restaurants and hotels can stay open from 7am to 7:30 for home delivery.
Eat and take it will not be permitted.
Meanwhile, 1,700 people were confirmed on Covid-19 infection on Monday.
