Nagpur: City police hold 13 young people after their video brandishing swords, sticks and iron trunks become viral.
They have been rounded out by Pachpaoli police.
The police source said the video was shot a few days ago.
At least a dozen young people on motorbikes were seen moving in the Pachpaoli area with swords, sticks and iron rods.
Then, one Pandhari Khapekar, a resident of Tandapeth, also filed a complaint about several young men who came to his place to find his son Shubham.
On the basis of complaints and after scanning CCTV footage, Pachpaoli police detained 13 young men, including a Abdul Jahid, a resident of Kavrapeth, Shanti Nagar.
The clip became a viral, forcing the police to act.
The police said about four months ago, Shubham had a fight with Abdul’s younger brother.
So now Abdul wants to take his brother’s revenge, police said.
