New Delhi: The Minister of Houses Union Amit Shah on Saturday advised people in the country to take a promise that they would take individual steps to make independent India and a strong country on the 100th anniversary of independence.
He said this public awareness would lead to constructive actions as imagined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a scheme such as ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Mandiri India), making in India and others.
His statement came at an event, held in the red fortress here, where he marked a 7,500 km car rally carried out by the command of the National Security Guard (NSG).
He was also marked in the cycle of cycles who peaked here after crossing more than 41,000 countries as part of the ongoing Indonesian independence celebration.
