Mumbai: A total of 1,317 people riding on the bed so far given a vaccine against Covid-19 in their residence in Mumbai and there has been no one in the case of a detrimental reaction to Jab, the City Civic Agency told the Bombay High Court on Wednesday.
Drive Door-To-Door Vaccination began as a pilot project in Mumbai on July 30.
“Until August 9, 2021, 1,317 citizens of the bed were vaccinated during the drive door vaccination to the door.
There was no AEFI event (harming the following event) has been reported,” said a written statement submitted in HC by Mangala Gomare, Brihanmumbai’s executive health worker Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Affidavit was delivered in response to litigation of the public interest submitted by the Advocate Dhruti Kapadia and Kunal Tiwari, looking for directions to the Government’s Government to start a door vaccination – to the door of senior citizens over the age of 75, the people who are qualified and those who are Bed-Ridden or Wheelchair bound.
The petition said people like it would not be able to go to the vaccination center.
The previous center stated his inability to introduce a door-to-door vaccination drive on vaccine waste and the risk of detrimental reaction.
The Maharashtra government last month said it would start the drive and frame the policy for the same thing.
The drive then starts in Mumbai as a pilot project.
According to Affidavit BMC, on August 9, 4,889 individuals ridden by the bed have registered for home vaccination.
On July 30, the pilot round with the help of NGOs was carried out and 37 people were vaccinated here in their homes.
“From August 2, 2021, home vaccination drives occur in all 24 wards in the city.
Beneficiaries are called and asked to prepare the required certificates.

The Civic’s body also said that it needed NGO assistance in several wards for the support of labor and an ambulance of basic life support.
The division bench from the Chairman of the Judge Datta and Justice G S Kulkarni will hear the petition on Thursday.
