Nagpur: The Covid-19 Vidarbha curve seems to settle towards the top of the third wave.
The last 48 hours (January 26 & 27) saw 13,726 new cases.
Of the 31 deaths during this period, 22 was reported on Thursday, including 14 of Nagpur Regency.
Of the 14 deaths in the Nagpur district, the city contributed 10.
Death includes many of them who died at home because of old age or other diseases and tested positive for Covid-19 post death.

This Nagpur Guardian Minister Nitin Raut issued a warning late at night on Thursday and appealed to residents to strictly follow Covid-19 rules and regulations.
While this surge certainly causes problems, there are several relief factors too.
The region saw 14,532 patients recovering in the last 48 hours, almost 1,000 more than new cases showed that recovery quickly increased too.
Looking at Mumbai’s graph where the case fell sharply in the last 10 days after reaching a new high, it could be expected that a surge that Vidarbha could dip in February the first week.

Akola: The reported district has death in the last two days but there are more than 425 cases.
There are 908 recovery too.
A total of 2186 patients were under treatment.
Washim: The last 48 hours saw 227 new cases and 116 recovery.
Now, 1,320 patients are under treatment.
Buldhana: Regency reported 243 cases on January 27 while 283 on January 26 there were reported deaths.
Now, 2325 patients are under treatment.
Gadchiroli: Regency reported 182 new cases on Thursday and 278 on Wednesday.
With 220 recovery in a day, the number has reached 31,839.
No deaths reported in the last two days.
Now, 1,297 patients are under treatment.
Gondia: There were 117 new cases and 228 recovery on Thursday, while Wednesday saw 362 infections and 386 recovery.
Two deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Now, 1,671 patients are under treatment.
Bhandara: When against 409 recovery, there were 191 new cases on Thursday.
On January 26, 573 new cases were reported.
A death reported on Thursday which took the victim for 1136.
Yavatmal: No death reported on Thursday.
288 was found positive while 246 recovered on Thursday.
At present there are 2112 patients positively active amravati: The death of three covids and a surge of 460 new cases recorded on Thursday.
467 Recovery is seen during the day.
This left 3694 active cases.
Wardha: One more death took the victim for 1333 on Thursday.
51 new cases added to the case load.
Meanwhile, 40 patients were sent back, leaving 2,827 active cases under treatment.
Chandrapur: Thursday is marked with one Covid death, 563 recovery and 438 detection.
It has left 3876 active patients under treatment.
Wednesday (January 26) has witnessed 739 cases such as the 619 recovery.
