Vadodara: The number of new Covid-19 cases in the city of Vadodara and rural areas jumped into 14 on Saturday night.
Positive cases detected from 4,570 tests carried out during the last 24 hours.
Of the 14 new cases, six have been reported from the West VMC zone, three of the North Zone while the east and south zone each for two cases.
Vadodara Rural has seen the addition of a new case.
New Saturday cases are reported from Gotri, Akota, Bhayli, Tandalja, Ektanagar, Jetalpur, Fatehpura, Panigati, Vadsar and the Gorwa region of the city.
After being in one digit, the last two days saw 12 new cases reported.
With 14 positive results on Saturday, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vadodara since the beginning of the pandemic had touched 72,411.
With the discharge of two patients from the hospital, the restored total touched 71,714.
Without Covid victims reported, the official toll road was killed in 623 in accordance with the Health Bulletin Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
There are currently 74 active cases in Vadodara.
Of these, the condition of 71 patients was said to be stable while three were treated with oxygen support.
249 people are currently under the quarantine of the house.
Rural Vadodara accounted for 26,803 from 72,411 cases reported from the beginning of the pandemic.
On the other hand, the West Zone VMC has reported 12,127 cases, followed by 11,873 cases from the South Zone, 11,860 cases from the North Zone and 9,712 cases from the East Zone.
