Noida / Ghaziabad: The Government of Uttar Pradesh has planned to form a total of 53 oxygen generation factories in six Meerut division districts.
Maximum – 14 – will appear in Nodia while Ghaziabad and Meerut will get 11 each.
On June 30, 13 of these plants have been installed in various places.
33 plants will be established in July and the rest will be completed in August.
The two plants each in Noida and Ghaziabad have been functioning.
The decision to increase the supply of oxygen to the hospital is very important because the authorities have explored Covid’s bed in front of the third wave.
Officials say that unlike the second wave, they want to make sure there is no shortage of supply of oxygen at this time.
Although 14 oxygen plants have been planned for Noida, 11 of them have received approval so far.
Officials say this plant is being built with the help of CSR funds and the company concerned tends to give approval for the remaining immediate.
In Ghaziabad, two oxygen plant plants function at the Joint District Hospital (150 liters per minute) and ESIC Hospital (160LPM).
The third will be operational at the Health Center in Bhojpur on Wednesday.
Officials said five oxygen plants would again be established in Ghaziabad at the end of this month while the remaining four will be installed in August.
The capacity of this plant is in the range of 150lpm to 1,000pm.
The biggest of them, 1,000lpm, will be arranged at the MMG 166-bed district hospital, which now has a 250LPM capacity.
In addition, the oxygen plant at the BHOJPUR health center has a capacity of 330LPM, which is much larger for facilities with only 10 beds.
Officials are now considering making additional wards here.
Noida, which has the maximum amount of oxygen generation, will make them all installed this month.
Of the 11 plants that have been approved so far, each four has a capacity of 1,000 LPM.
Until now, the 1,000LPM plant at the Noida Covid Hospital and another from the capacity of 150LPM in the gims functioned.
Dr.
Shweta Khurana, Nodal Officer to handle oxygen supply in Noida, said, “We constantly monitor the progress and all oxygen plants that have been planned to be established on July 20.
There is only one factory that vendors itself down with Covid and cannot meet the deadline Time or provide the right timeline for its solution.
However, we expect it to be ready at the end of July.
