14 terrorists were killed in 8 operations this year until now, said J & K DGP Singh

Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir): A total of 14 terrorists, including 7 of Pakistan have been killed in eight operations this year until now, Director of Police Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday.
DGP Dibbag Singh said this after participating in the laying ceremony of the Bouquet of the Senior Class Police of Rohit Chhib, who lost his life during the encounter of security personnel with terrorists in Kulgam on Wednesday.
“It was unfortunate that we had lost our brave Rohit Chhib police.
During this meeting, terrorists tried to take civilians as hostages and use them as shields.
But JAWANS bravely saved the civilians,” DGP Dilbag Singh said.
According to DGP, this hostage method is a new technique that is terrorist Pakistan uses very often now.
“They do this in Hyderpora too, they try to use civilians as shields.” Constable Rohit Chhib lost his life when trying to save civilians during the Kulgam meeting.
“Fourteen terrorists have been killed in eight operations this year.
Of the 14 terrorists, seven came from Pakistan,” said DGP Singh.
When asked about terrorist infiltration in LC during the Republican Day, DGP Dibbag Singh said, “JAWANS we have their eyes on the border.
There is a strict guard on terrorist infiltration.”
