Kalyan: A 14-year-old girl was raped by a 35-year-old history in the Ulhasnagar train station area on Friday night.
The defendant, who was arrested on Saturday night for the crime, had threatened the child and three of his friends at Olhasnagar Skywalk with a hammer and dragged him to an isolated room in the train quarter.
The child suffered a minor injury with his head who was undergoing treatment.
On Saturday morning, when the defendant allowed the child to leave, he and relatives approached the local Hill Line police station in Ulhasnagar where the police, instead, directed them to the Vithalwadi Law Office quoted jurisdictional issues.
The Vithalwadi police station also then directed them to Kalyan GRP, quoting jurisdiction.
It was 2pm at 2pm when they reached Kalyan GRP, where rape fireplaces and attacks under the Indian punishment code and part of the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso) were immediately registered and the defendant was tracked and arrested by Saturday night.
The incident occurred on Saturday at 10pm when the girl and friends, all Ulhasnagar residents, had returned from Shirdi and used Skywalk to reach their home.
A senior official from Kalyan said, “After the defendant allowed the girl to leave in the morning, he was first approaching the Bukit line police station and then the Vithalwadi police station where he was commanded that because the crime occurred in our jurisdiction, he had to go to GRP station Kalyan us.
“Valmik Shardul, Senior Police Inspector Kalyan GRP said,” We have arrested the defendant for the rape, attack and Pocso.
” The arrest accusations have several cases related to violations of the body against him.
This is a second rape case within three months in an isolated railroad area.
In July, a 27-year-old speech woman aged 27 years was allegedly raped in a kalet train in Kalyan.
