14,087 Covid-19 cases, 109 deaths reported in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Saturday recorded 14,087 Covid-19 cases, pushing Matieload infection to 30.53.116, while 109 deaths took the victim to 14,489.
As many as 11,867 people have recovered from infection, taking total recovery to29.22,921 and the number of active cases in the state to 1,15,226, said the release of the state government.
Malappuram recorded the highest number of cases (1883), followed by Thrissur (1705), Kozhikode (1540), Ernakulam (1465), Kollam (1347), Palakkad (1207) and Thiruvananthapuram (949).
From new cases, 53 are health workers, 98 comes from outside the country and 13,240 infected through contact with contact sources is unclear in 696 cases, the word release.
In the last 24 hours, 1.31,682 samples were tested, taking the cumulative number of specimens checked as far as 2.43.08,000.
The pepitote rate of the test (TPR) reaches 10.7%.
At present there are 3,84,493 people under supervision in various countries, including 3,59,714 in the quarantine of a house or institutional and 24,779 in the hospital.
