Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala has reported 14,087 new Covid-19 cases from 1.31,682 samples sent for testing in the last 24 hours.
A total of 109 deaths were confirmed because Covid took the death toll in the state to 14,490.
The state also reported 11,867 recovery and now, there were 1,15,226 people in care in the state.
TPR is 10.70%.
From 14,087 new cases, 13,240 contracted viruses through local transmission.
The source of infection cannot be traced to 696.
There are 53 health care professionals among those infected and 98 people have arrived from outside the country.
Malappuram reported the highest number of cases with 1,883, followed by thrissur with 1,705, Kozhikode with 1,540, Ernakulamp with 1,465, boxes with 1,207, Thiruvananthapuram with 949, alappuzha with 765, Kasaragod with 691, Kasaragod with 691, Kasaragod with 682, PathaMthitta with 357, Wayanad with 330 and Idukki with 313 cases.
So far, 29,22,921 people have recovered from infections in the state.
2,43,08,000 samples have been sent for testing until now.
There are 3,84,493 people currently observing in various state districts, where 3,59,714 is at home or institutional quarantine center, and 24,779 in isolation in hospitals.
There are 86 local bodies that have TPR less than 5%, 382 local bodies between 5% and 10%, 370 LSG between 10% and 15%, and 196 LSG above 15% TPR.
