Amravati: District and health administration are preparing to start vaccination drives for those aged between 15 and 18 years from Monday.
Dr.
Dilip Ranmalm, District Health Officer, Zilla Parishad, said the drive would be launched at 40 centers in the district and extend to more centers later.
Children were born in 2007 or before eligible for registration, which can be done using the Cowin application or in the centers, he said.
Collector Pavneet Kaur was ordered to coordinate with the Ministry of Education at the Taluka level for effective drive implementation.
Administration has also planned a booster dose for health workers and frontline workers from January 10.
Workers, who took their second dose nine months or 39 weeks ago, will be eligible for a booster dose, said Dr.
Ranmae.
