Patna: The medical officer responsible for 15 blocks from seven districts on Friday was asked to speed up the Covid vaccination process and make a micro plan to cover the maximum number of recipients.
These blocks have been ounocated less than 50% of the beneficiaries with the first dose.
The state has so far been vaccinated a portion of 68.4% of its qualified population.
At the review meeting, the Head of the Additional Health Secretary, Pratyaya Amrit, found 15 LAX blocks in Covid vaccination.
These blocks are Hasanpura and Goriakothi in Siwan; Dhanarua and Maner on Patna; Aurai, Katra, Motipur, Gaighat and Kurhani in Muzaffarpur; Belaganj, Town and Tekari in style; Adhaura in Kaimur, the Jokhatist in Arariah and Benipatti in Madhubani.
Apart from this low performance block, a civil surgeon from five districts with the lowest vaccination coverage was also warned.
The fifth of this district was Jehanabad (61.6%), Madhubani (62.2%), Aurangabad (63.3%), Aria (63.3%) and Banka (64.1%).
On the other hand, Saharsa was at the top by analyzing 78.4% of the first doses of benefits followed by Patna (77.5%), Purnia (74.3%), Buxar (73.7%) and Gopalganj (72.2 %).
Meanwhile, the State Health Department has decided to hold a mega vaccination drive on Sunday.
5 more positive tests for Covid-19 in Bihar: The state on Friday registered five new Covid-19 cases against 1.21,910 samples tested.
Four people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
With this, the number of active cases in the country has touched 44.
Of the five new cases, Patna contributed three and two Darbhanga.
Covid calculation as a whole country has increased to 7.26.125.
However, 7.16,419 people have so far recovered from viruses in the state and 9,661 cucucing.
Meanwhile, 1,24,151 the Covid-19 vaccine dose was managed throughout the state on Friday.
So far, more than 6.91 crore vaccine doses have been given in the state.
