Kabul: At least two explosions followed by gunfire sounded close to the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Military Hospital in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, a witness who lived nearby.
The photos distributed by residents showed smoke feathers above the explosion area.
There are no comments available from Taliban officials and there are no claim responsibilities immediately.
The Islamic State, which has carried out a series of attacks on mosques and other targets since the Taliban Kabul seizure in August, attacked a 400 bed hospital in 2017, killing more than 30 people.
