15 more cases of Zika report on Kanpur

Kanpur: After two short Lull Day, 15 new cases of the Zika virus were reported at Kanpur on Friday night and Saturday, taking counting to 123.
Overall, 37 people had recovered.
Thus the total active case is 86.
Three patients are in Lucknow and one on Kannauj.

Nepal Singh said, “With 15 newer Zika virus cases, total tally in the city (Kanpur) now stands at 123.
We have started intensive supervision in Zika’s infected area.” “The first case of Zika was reported on October 23 when an Indian Air Force officer was diagnosed with an infection in the Pardewanpur Chokeri area.
To check the spread of the Zika virus in Kanpur, CM Yogi Adityanath on November 10 has visited the city and reviewing the situation.
He has emphasized fogging in all districts.

He also examined the integrated control room arranged for Zika at Kanpur Municipal Corporation.
