Jaipur: At least 15 of the 33 districts in Rajasthan each have less than 10 Covid active cases, while three districts – Banswara, Dholpur and Dungarpur – do not have such cases.
Overall active cases are calculated on Saturday standing at 750.
For the past 10 days, the country has reported less than 80 new infections every day every day.
The recovery rate has also reached 98.9%, with 119 people recovering from the virus taking a total tally from these cases to 9.43,376.
Although the level of recovery rises, the virus still claims life.
In July, 24 people had died of Covid throughout the state.
In the last 24 hours, two people died took death overall to 8,945.
With 56 new cases, the cumulative amount reached 9.53,074.
“In the past 10 days, active cases have decreased by more than 49% because the state reported less than 80 new infections every day,” said a senior health department official.
Jaipur has the highest active case in 196, followed by Alwar (136) and Jodhpur (51).
About 50% of the districts have not reported even one Covid case while 17 have reported 56 cases.
The district that reported a new case was Jaipur (14), Kota (10), Udaipur (8), Jodhpur (4), Jaisalmer (2), Srianganganagar (2), Nagaur (2), Tonk (2), Bharatpur (2) , Chittorgarh (2), Churu (1), Hanumangarh (1), Jhalawar (1), Jhunjhunu (1), Sikar (1) and Sirohi (1).
Udaipur reported the death of 748 Covid-19 and Bundi reported his 48th Covid-19 death.
