Ahmedabad: The Department of Fire and Emergency Department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation sealed 15 school places on Thursday because it failed to update a fire certificate without their objections (NOC).
Closed schools include Vaijnath Vidyalay and Sharda Vidyalay in Vejalpur, Ombeshwar Elementary School in JIVRAJ, a classic elementary school in Juhapura, SMA Cadila English Intermediate in Dhanasuthar Ni Pol and Anupam Vidyavihar at Kalupur.
The fire department said that the management of the school was reminded to update their fire several times and then issue a notice too.
However, the place must be sealed because they still do not update their expired API nocs.
The department will make further sealing from the default school place, the statement was added.
