New Delhi: Fifteen Countries and UTS Including Delhi, Odisha, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, J & K, Chandigarh and Tripura have launched the new ‘Bharat (BH)’ series for private vehicle registration in just two months after the road transportation ministry gave Know this regime.
At present, defense personnel, employees of the Central and State of Government, PSU and private sector companies that have offices in four or more states and UTS can take advantage of these facilities.
Toi has learned that seven of these states have registered vehicles with this new registration sign.
So far Odisha and Delhi have issued a maximum of 55 and 32 such registration numbers.

Every state government wants to reduce the hassles faced by people to transfer vehicles.
This policy was told after consultation therefore,” said the Ministry of Road Transport officials.
He added that there were no complaints from vehicle owners with a new registration number that faced any problems.
This scheme is voluntary.
The new regime is told by the aim of making vehicle transfers to other countries that are smooth and hassle-free.
Vehicles are registered with this new series “BH”, which stands for Bharat, will not need re-registration when the owner is transferred to a new country.
Those who choose to register their vehicle under the series this new registration number need to pay road tax for two years or in multiples of two.
The whole process has been created online.
For this scheme, the ministry has repaired a road tax of 8% for vehicles for RS 10 lakh, 10% for those who cost between Rs 10-20 lakh and 12% for vehicles more than RS 20 Lakh.
There are 2% additional costs for diesel vehicles and electric vehicles will be subject to 2% less tax.
