Karwar: A 15-year-old boy lost after the crocodile in the river dragged him into the water in the city of Dandeli on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the bank in Vinayak Nagar in the industrial city.
Mohin Mehaboob Ali has gone to the edge of the river for fishing.
The witnesses told the police that they saw the boy dragged into the river and suspected that he might have been taken by the crocodile.
Local has reported an increase in crocodile attacks on the river.
The Taluk government has called a rafting team from Ganeshgudi to find the boy.
Until the afternoon there was no sign of Mohin’s body.
Two months ago a large crocodile had entered the housing area of the city of Dandeli created panic.
The animal walked through the road and the video became viral.
