15-year-old girl between 2 dead in Delhi Hotel Fire, 6 injured

New Delhi: Two people died, while at least six others were injured after a fire broke out at OYO facility in Dwarka on Sunday morning.
The deceased includes a teenage girl and her best friend.
A fired fired and investigation was carried out by police and firefighters to ensure the cause of the fire, regardless of the negligence.
This hotel was sued by police three times in the past.
The fire broke between 7am and 7.30 in the morning.
Officials said they received calls around 7:40 a.m.
and eight fire tenders were sent to extinguish the fire.
“The fire took place at Krishna Hotel in Sector 8, Dwarka, which was run by Oyo.
The caller stated that the fire had broken and people were trapped inside.
There was no hotel staff present when we got there,” said an officer.
The fire department found two bodies on the ground floor stairs, showing that they might have died while trying to run out.
A man named Lokesh (21), who lives in one of the rooms, said that around midnight there was a short circuit and lights after half an hour.
“When I woke up around 7 in the morning, I found a lot of smoke inside the hotel and fire on the ground floor and reception,” he added.
Eyewitnesses said panic and chaos lasted for 15-20 minutes with people shouting to help and rush out of the building.
DCP Santosh Meena said a FIR was submitted because it caused death due to negligence, damage to the fire and acted to endanger the lives of others under the IPC section of 285, 337, 338 and 304A.
At night, the police arrested the manager, Harshit Saini (21) and one Nisha Jha (22), who claimed to be the owner of Oyo facility.
The police have called the IPC part of the guilty murder in FIR.
An initial investigation revealed that this hotel was run by Sunil Gupta, which let it become a man named Parmit from Dashrathpuri.
“The building owner is Sidharth and Karuna from Ranchi, Jharkhand.
This hotel is sued based on part 28/12 from Delhi police acting for twice violations and cases below the IPC 188 section also registered earlier,” said a senior police officer.
While the forensic team and crime collected samples and evidence, the body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital and injured sent for care.
The dead girl was around 15 years old and used to living in Sultanpuri.
When the police contacted his family, his sister said he went to meet Prianya’s friend, Deepak, on Saturday.
Deepak, who also died in a fire, lived in Bagdola in Sector 8, Dwarka.
He worked at a club in Janakpuri as a DJ.
Two injured have been identified as Harsh Singla and Bhagyak Mehra.
Statement of injured and other hotel occupants has been recorded.
The staff has been questioned and the hotel registers are looking for analysis.
