Gurgaon: Wing Enforcement Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) on Tuesday attacked around 1,500 Jhuggies and shops to clean about 3 hectares of land on the golf road in the middle of protest.
HSVP has not cleaned another 4-acre land at this location.
Authority, according to an official, was planning to bring a long two-day trip starting on Wednesday to eliminate the wild residents of this area.
Officers of HSVP (Gurgaon) Officers Jitender Kumar said some illegal structures have emerged in 7 hectares of land in the Nathupur area along the golf path.
Authority has been cleaned around 3 hectares on Tuesday and the remaining land will be cleared from encroachment in the next two days.
SDO (Survey) Satyanarayan and his team won in the venue around 11am and gave an hour to merge to take their belongings.
“However, some people began protesting the drive.
With the help of the police, the demolition was done and we managed to clean 3 hectares,” he said.
“Four teams were deployed to drive encroachment and continued until around 4pm,” said Junior Engineer Sandeep Lot added that the Demolition Drive would be continued on Wednesday.
“The land obtained in 2009 and the owner has been compensated by the authority,” Many said who added that along with Jhuggies there were several shops and restaurants.
This land along the metro line is fast on the road golf course.
