Rajkot: acting on a tip off, Jamnagar police confiscated 1,500 bottles of Indian foreigners (IMFL) from the Jamnagar Gulabnagar area on Sunday morning.
The police arrested the Dharmesh Gohel truck driver (31), a resident of Navagam (GHED) and Imran Sheikh (35), a resident of Kisan Chowk in Jamnagar.
“We confiscated an IMFL worth 7.5 lakh Rs while we also confiscated trucks and plastic trucks where bottles were hidden.
We arrested two people who claimed to have taken contraband goods from the Union of Daman and will dismantle in Jamkhambhalia in Devbhoomi District Dwarka.
Five names have been Appearing in this case and the arrest will be done soon, “police said.
