MUMBAI: Maharashtra on Monday reported 15,077 fresh Covid-19 instances, the smallest since March 15, carrying the caseload into 57,46,892, although 184 more deaths forced the cost to 95,344, the state health department stated.
On March 15, the country had reported 15,051 instances because it hurtled towards a catastrophic second Covid-19 wave.
The daily count was also a sharp fall from 18,600 illnesses enrolled on Sunday.
Recoveries far surpassed new illnesses.
As many as 33,000 patients have been discharged from hospitals throughout the afternoon, pushing the amount of recovered cases into 53,95,370, an announcement by the health department said.
The country today has 2,53,367 active instances, it stated.
The Covid-19 recovery speed is 93.

The Aurangabad branch recorded 385 ailments of the fatal illness, the Latur branch 966, the Akola branch 873 along with the Nagpur branch 726, ” the announcement said.
