159 Language Teacher Posts Made

Ranchi: The State Government on Monday announced the creation of more than 159 new posts for professors and assistant professors for the undergraduate level at Koban University, headquartered in Chaibasa (Singhbhum Barat), a state pocket dominated by adivasi.
Officials said this step will strengthen the academic ecosystem and improve regional and tribal language studies.
The Chairperson of Minister Hemant Soren made an announcement in a tweet.
The Hemant government’s move comes after changing the recruitment rules for the work of Grade III and IV government, which makes knowledge of local / custom language and compulsory rituals for the applicant.
CM focus now is to improve local language studies.
New posts have been made for professors / principals and assistant professors in four languages, namely, Santhali, Kuduk, Kurmali and Mundari at 14 university universities and related regional subjects / subjects / centers.
Of the total posts, 147 are for professors, eight for assistant professors and four are for the principal.
Six posts of each Professor have been made for the language of sites, Santhali, Kurmali and Mundari.
Speaking with Toi, the Head of the Ministry of Higher Education and Technical Education Department, K K Khandelwal, said the government would rise in fresh and in various universities in priority.
He also said the university was asked to send a proposal in this matter earlier.
“Kobhan University has sent us a proposal for the creation of new posts for regional and tribal languages ​​and we forward files with the approval of the minister’s chairman,” Khandelwal said.
Deputy Chancellor of Kobhan Gangadhar Panda welcomed the decision but stated that they had not received formal communication about the creation of new posts.
He said, “At the postgraduate level, we have several academic forces for tribal and regional languages ​​but at the undergraduate and college level, we have no post since the creation of universities in 2009.” He added, “Depending on the demands of college and to fulfill our responsibility to maintain regional interests and students, we have moved a proposal for the creation of new posts.
