Gurgaon: Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitam Nigam (DHBVN) has stopped issuing a new electrical connection to the property owner in the colony developed by 16 builders because they have not paid the discussion infrastructure fee of Rs 317 Crore.
Two groups of home buyers recently approached the office of the chairman of the minister and office of the Prime Minister (PMO) for this issue.

According to the DHBVN official, this housing colony developer failed to establish around 20 substations for the power supply.
“Thousands of families who have bought or built houses in these areas do not even get a temporary connection even though they have paid all contributions to government institutions,” Ramesh Singla, President of the Gurgaon home developer and the plot owner association, who wrote to CM’s office about the problem This was last week, said.
“We have met officials from DHBVN and the district administration and are written to the CM office too, but there are no actions that have been taken so far,” he added.
Giriraj Gupta, member of Vatika City Rwa, said, “We wrote to PMO last week and hoped to see some actions that supported the occupants immediately.” According to the plan, several builders should provide land and make payments to DHBVN for the construction of 18 21kVA substations, and two 6KVA substations.
While Unitech and Ansal API must ensure the establishment of the four substations, VIPUL and Ansal Buildwell must develop two, while Suncity, Vatika, Malibu Towne, Ardee City, Uppal Southend, Parsvnath, Sheetal and Saraswati have to build one substation.
Meanwhile, Raheja, JMD, Omaxe, Parsvnath and BPTP need to pay DHBVN more than Rs 12 Crore to arrange infrastructure related to other power in their colonies.
The Managing Director of the Dhbvn PC Meena told TI that the department had directed the builder to deposit contributions, failing which punishment would be carried out against them.
“Their land and projects will be installed and no objection certificate will not be issued until the contribution is restored,” he said.
