Chennai: The number of students who chose Tamil as a medium to write a national eligibility test (NEET) this year has increased by 16 percent from the previous year.
The exam is scheduled to be held on September 12.
At 2020 NEET, 17,101 students have chosen Tamil as a medium for writing tests; While in 2021, 19,867 students chose the language.

“The number of students who choose Tamil in Neet has increased due to orders for government school students.
