16% of adolescents who meet the requirements are affixed in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: On the first day of Covid vaccination from the 15-18 year age group, Gujarat was inoculated 4.94 lakh teenagers until 5 pm.
Because the country has around 30 beneficiaries of the lakh in the age group, the state reaches around 16% population coverage on the first day of vaccination.
Meanwhile, the Covid Daily case continued the climb up – within 24 hours of 5pm on Monday, Gujarat added 1,259 cases, the highest in the last 215 days.
It was a 30% surge compared to 968 cases on Sunday.
Of the total, 631 or 50% of cases are recorded from the city of Ahmedabad only.
The active case crosses 5,000 signs after more than seven months at 5,858.
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel started drive vaccination in the state of the school in Koba near Gandhinagar on Monday morning.
“Throughout Gujarat, more than 700 schools carry out camps to invest students,” said a senior health department official.
