New Delhi: Sixteen Personnel Security Forces made the highest sacrifice during counter-terrorist operations at the Indian-Pakistani border between January to June this year, the Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt said on Wednesday.
“The details of the army (including the personnel of the Central Armed Police Force) Martyred because the terrorist operation counter for the past three years was in: 80 in 2019; 62 in 2020; 16 in 2021 (up to June),” he said in a written reply.

The security situation in Jammu and Kashmir is dynamic and continuing to grow, Bhatt mentioned.
“Although fragile, the security environment has witnessed a significant increase in the past two years,” he said.
The steps are taken in all domains to influence damage that cannot be changed to terrorist organizations and eliminate the specter of terrorism, the Minister said.
