MUMBAI: A 16-year-old woman was supposedly gang-raped at Malvani region of north Mumbai once she attended the birthday party with her boyfriend, authorities said Saturday.
The incident happened on Tuesday night and also six individuals have been detained and hunt has been to get a seventh detained, an official said.
“The woman left to attend to her boyfriend’s birthday celebration after bolting her house from out thus that her kin couldn’t prevent her.
The following day she complained of stomach discomfort and informed her family regarding the gang-rape.
Her criticism names seven individuals, six of whom were arrested until Friday night,” she explained.
These seven are charged with rape, and criminal intimidation, extortion along with other offences, the Malvani police channel official added.
