16 years working to support the family died of an accident

Nagpur: Sake Gupta (Sahu), around 16 years old, had to step out to work to increase family income after his father’s grocery business was hit during the covid-induced locking.
On Saturday, Sujan died after maintaining a mysterious head injury in the elevator at Anusaya Mangal Karyalaya in Jagnade Chowk where he was part of the catering team.
The police have been on Sunday registering a violation of the venue owner (the owner of the Anusaya Mangal Kingyalaya), the contractor manager and labor (catering) in this case.
Sujan, a Standard X student, has begun working with a catering team for RS250 a day since Diwali.
On Friday, Sujan had left his residence Nagar Sangharsh near the Wathoda to work with the team and had attended back-to-back functions.
“I lost my child for RS250,” said Mrs.
Savitri Sujan who could not be entertained.
Sujan is the youngest of four siblings.
Guptas (Sahu), from Uttar Pradesh, has migrated to the city from Mumbai about a decade ago to find a greener meadow.
Around 11am on Saturday, Sujan seemed to be injured in the elevator while carrying several equipment.
He rushed to a private hospital, but was declared dead.
The Diliped Father who suffered by Sujan said the young man, who was with Sujan, had often changed his statement.
“We received a call around 1pm that my child had met an accident,” said being bored, who said he would want FIR to be registered immediately against the venue management because it allowed his son to step into a dangerous elevator.
“The elevator doesn’t seem safe with the open side,” he said.
Guptas sad said they felt rotten play.
“My child suffered an inside injury to the skull.
The police said that the head of Sujan might be trapped at the Grill Lift gate.
In this case, there will be injuries on both sides of the head,” said Mrs.
Sujan.
Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said relevant charges had been called to the people concerned and further investigation.
Vidya Kale, the owner of the Anusaya Mangal Karyalaya, said the elevator was only intended for goods and not for human use.
“We have no clue about how the boy might step into the elevator and hurt.
There is a warning board also in the elevator,” he added that our agreement with catering or work contractors said not to involve small children at work.
Senior Inspector Kishor Nagrery from the Nandanvan police station said this elevator was operated manually to pick up the goods and and here between the first and fourth floor.
According to sources in the Department of Energy, the electrical inspector should examine the elevator according to the rules of the bombay elevator, 1939 and Bombay Lifts rules, 1958, to ascertain whether the permissions are searched for operating goods.
“After the accident, the electrical inspector examines the elevator and zero above the root causes behind the incident.
Violations are ensured and compensation may also be given under the action,” said the source.
Mustak Pathhan’s child protection officer said a child labor officer would immediately inspect and submit a report.
“The police must submit FIR under the adolescent justice and the actions of child labor,” he said.
