Udupi: District has witnessed the spread of Covid-19 cases that are rampant among students who are below 15.
A total of 1,597 Covid-19 cases are reported among children under 15 in the district, in the first three weeks of January.
The statistics available with the Ministry of Health in Udupi show that the spread of rampant viruses among children in the age group 11-15.
Of the 1,597 infected children in the first three weeks of January, 1,162 were in the age group 11-15.
While the district reported 7,666 cases in three weeks between 1 and 21 January, almost 55% of the infected ones were patients under 25.
A total of 4,150 of 7,666 were cases found in people who were under 25.

District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr.
