Bengaluru: In 198 Bengaluru Civic Ward, 165 had reported less than 10 fresh Covid-19 cases every day for the past week and 31 had seen no new infections in that period.

They claimed that in the four hours Covid case was identified, they traced 10 primary and secondary contacts of patients to control their deployment further.
The city reported 118 positive cases and zero death on Monday.
The only Covid death in the last 24 hours came from Mysuru.

The Civic Agency has mobilized more than 950 Asha (Health) workers in 160 primary health centers to conduct a door-to-door survey every day.
“Asha workers have a database ready to be built throughout the year and constantly check whether people in their jurisdiction show symptoms such as Covid and immediately give it medical assistance,” he said.
When someone is positively identified, the BBMP health wing immediately reaches him or visits patients directly by using cellular triages.

By quoting a positive case of Covid-19 recently from Doddanekkundi, a senior health official said eight Primary and seven secondary contact patients were identified in three and a half hours.
