The police in Pune intercepted two trucks on the highway to Solapur and captured 168 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs 30 Lakh, an official said on Sunday.
A gang 12 people have been arrested as part of the attack carried out based on a tip by Yavat police in the district rural part, he said.
“We formed two teams, put a trap near the restaurant and intercepted two trucks carrying 168 kg of marijuana worth Rs 30 lakh.
Two trucks, cumulatively worth Rs 48 Lakh, have also been confiscated.
Seven men and five women were arrested,” the official said .
