Lucknow: Nearly 17% of the population up that qualified for Covid-19 vaccination has taken vaccine doses, suggesting data from the State Health Department.
However, officials show that despite the surge in the number of people who use vaccine doses, compliance with prevention protocol Covid-19 is needed.
In accordance with data from the Co-Win portal, the total number of doses given in the country is 11.74 crore.
Overall, 9.21 crore people have taken at least one dose, while 2.53 Crore has gotten the two doses.
The previous target was to vaccinate 15.04 crore people.
Meanwhile, 11 new cases and 15 recovery were reported in the last 24 hours.
Officials show that the country is left with 139 active cases that are almost 85% under house isolation while the remaining 15% are hospitalized.
Data from the Covid-19 bulletin shows that 45% of the total active cases in the country were reported from only three districts including Lucknow (31), Gautam Budh Nagar (15) and ProAgraj (15).
It also shows that 39 districts are free from active cases of infection, while 13 districts are left only with one active case.
Officials said that the level of recovery of the country hovered around 98.7% and the mortality rate was 1.3%.
