Jaipur: In what might encourage investor interest, 17 of the 41 country industrial parks, rated as the best leaders or performance, come from Rajasthan.
The industrial and internal trade promotion department (DPIIT) on Tuesday released the ranking of Industrial Park and Sezs, Industrial Park Ranking System (IPRS) 2.0, in this country.
According to the list, 41 parks are rated as leaders, with Rajasthan contributing 17 (41%) from them.
Eighteen parks like that come from Maharashtra.
For the availability of land, Rajasthan came fourth (19.58 lakh hectare), not far behind Tamil Nadu (21.45 lakh hectare), the upper state in the category.
In the report, the Minister of Trade and Piyush Industry Goyal said, “This insight will not only empower investors to make a conscious decision on investment, but also provide policy makers to focus on strengthening existing ecosystems.” IPRS 2.0 uses 45 parameters such as external and internal infrastructure, business and environmental support services and safety to assess investor friendly facilities.
In addition to the park developer response, this ranking also evaluates tenant feedback or industrial units operating there.
A Riico official said, “Riico has set high standards in this country in providing the best infrastructure, logistics, and public facilities.
This will be the main differentiator when investors are looking for locations to combine their investments.” In the ranking of the Special Economic Zone (Sez), Mahindra World City Jaipur found a place in the leader category.
In the product specialized park, Rajasthan secured the position No.
1 in four sectors of 21.
Textile parks in the state have the largest area used or occupied than other gardens in this country.
Similar to gems and jewelry, software, and construction parks in the state.
At all, 449 parks and Sez are nominated for the ranking.
They are assessed under the category of leaders, challengers and aspiring.
Because of the criteria, 365 industrial and kek parks are assessed in a report developed by DPIIT with the help of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
