Pune: A 17-year-old young man from Talega Dabhade, who was missing since Wednesday night, was found to be killed near a private company along the Pune-Mumbai highway.
Police Pimpri Chinchwad said that the young men, identified as Pardeshy Dashant, were shot in his head by several unknown people.
“The reason behind the murder is unknown,” said an officer from the Talega Dabhade police station.
He said that on Wednesday around 6pm, Pardeshi left his house.
When he did not return home until late at night, his parents approached the police and filed a complaint of missing people.
“His body was found at around 12:30 a.m.
on Thursday,” the officer said.
He said that the police had registered a case below section 302 (killing) from the Criminal Procedure Code.
“Our probe lights up,” the officer said.
