Nagpur: Two tunnels that lead to the secret room, where underage children are hidden during a police attack, found in a brothel in the red-light area Ganga Jamuma on Friday after 17 years showing the police.
The police initially could see only the wall behind the bed in a narrow room on the ground floor.
It was after being directed by a minor, some of the walls were pulled down to find a hollow opening that had a room in the back where at least four small girls could crawl and stand up.
There is a separate room that is similar at the end of the tunnel on the first floor too.
Police officials feel that there may be interconnected rooms.
When Tii visited the place, there were several bracelets and feet of women in one of the rooms that lead to a secret room.
“The rooms are closed and the walls have recently been painted.
We felt the rooms were closed after the police began to turn off Ganga Jamuna following the command of CP Amitesh Kumar,” said Senior I Parag Pote from the Lakadganjanjan Police Station.
Minor, who helped the police to find the rooms, sold by several people, including his mother, for RS20 Lakh in 2017.
From his place of origin in Rajasthan, he was taken to the dance bar in Mumbai.
The minor was then taken to Gwalior after he changed hands to RS20 Lakh once again.
He was once again sold for Rs 20 lakh and was taken to Ganga Jamuna in 2020.
The minor was friends with customers who helped him escape from the place at night.
He returned to Rajasthan but his grandmother urged him to leave with his younger brother when the family was preparing to sell it once more.
The minor has approached the lakadanjanjnya police station about two weeks ago.
Police Lakadganj then went to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to arrest Minor’s mother, relatives and other people who turned Mahendra Chhari who are now in police custody.
More capture arrests, Pi Pote said.
