PRAYAGRAJ: The government of this Naini central prison are taking all measures to examine the spread of coronavirus from the prison and claim to have ran over 17,000 evaluations till date and 531 offenders were found favorable. At present, only 32 offenders are undergoing therapy at Covid care center in the prison while the remainder have regained. Over 17,000 evaluations are done and 531 offenders have tested positive up to now. But now only 32 offenders are undergoing therapy. No death was reported up to now from the prison” Pandey added the offenders that were attracted from out were kept at a temporary prison situated in the prison campus. Before accepting offenders or undertrials into Naini central prison, the authorities were able to run rapid antigen tests. When they tested negative, they had been permitted to enter prison assumptions. But if some undertrial was tested positive, he had been retained in Covid care facility situated inside Naini prison. After entrance into prison assumptions, RT PCR evaluation of inmates, who had been attracted from out and maintained at temporary prison, has been conducted. When undertrial was tested positive, he had been declared in Covid care facility and after tested negative, he had been sent to get 14 days quarantine at quarantine barracks.
