Lucknow: The number of people immunized against Covid-19 in Lucknow crossed the 4 lakh mark on Tuesday, although daily inoculation fell compared to Monday.
A total of 17,707 people, including 8,157 (46%) of women, were affixed to 67 booths – 59 government and eight personalities.
Of these, 33.8% (5,987) the recipient took the second dose while 11,720 (66.1%) got the first.
With this, 4.05 lakh people – 11.2% of the 36 adult populations of lakh – in the district have completed two dosage courses, while 9.4 lakh (26.1%) has received one shot so far.
In the six months of mass immunization campaign, 17.55 doses of lakh, including 18,945 on Tuesday, has been given in the city so far.
In accordance with the Cowin State Dashboard, vaccination in rural areas is very low compared to urban areas.
In the past 10 days, at an average of 16,277 people were inoculated every day in the centers in the city, while only 2,598 took vaccines every day at rural health facilities.
Of the total dosage given on Tuesday, people in the age group of 18-44 years received 9,690 (54.7%) doses followed by 5.820 (32.8%) doses in category 45-59 years.
