Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Friday reported 17,518 Covid-19 fresh cases, encouraging calculations to 32.35,533 and taking the test level of test (TPR) through a sign of 13 percent.
TPR 13.63 percent, up from 12.38 percent recorded on Thursday.
It has passed 11 percent on July 19 after remaining underneath for several weeks the number of people who surrendered to the virus rose to 15,871 with 132 deaths again recorded today.
As many as 11,067 people have recovered from infection, taking total recovery to 30,83,962 and the number of active cases in the state to 1.35,198, Minister of Health Veena George said.
Malappuram reported the highest number of 2,871 cases, followed by Thrissur with 2,023 and Kozhikode 1,870.
“From new cases, 110 have come from outside the country by memorizing disease through their contact.
700 infection sources have not been traced.
Seventy health workers are also infected,” said the release.
As many as 1,28,489 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and TPR was found 13.63 percent of the cumulative number of specimens examined so far reached 2.59.50.704.
At present there are 4,18,496 people under supervision in the state, among which 25,691 are in the isolation path of various hospitals.
There are 271 local government agencies in the state with TPR more than 15 percent, the release said.
George stopped the media report that Kerala had 10 doses of the lakh vaccine that was not used and said the state had a stock of around 4.5 lakh doses.
“At present, we have a 4.5 lakh vaccine dose.
We provide two to 2.5 lakh doses every day, which means the existing dose will be used within two days,” he said.
He said health workers had effectively managed the vaccine without waste and the state government had taken all the steps to provide a vaccine to everyone.
