Hyderabad: Among 648 arrivals from foreign countries at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), six have been positively tested for Covid-19 while their samples have been sent to the genome sequencing.
Ten results are still awaited.
So far, 10,029 passengers have arrived at the international airport this month.
Meanwhile, the country saw 177 new cases of Covid-19 and one death, each took a cumulative case and death to 6.80.251 and 4,018.
At present there are 3,596 active cases.
A total of 38,219 samples were tested throughout the state on Thursday.
190 more patients were declared recovered, taking total recovery to 6,72,637.
The state fatality rate of the state has now established 0.59 percent while the recovery rate is at 98.88 percent.
The state has completed a sample test of 2.94 crores to date, with a speed of 7.9 lakh samples tested per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area recorded 93 cases on Thursday, while neighboring Rangeddy District, Medchal-Malkajgiri and casually recorded 16, nine and seven cases.
Elsewhere in the state, Hanumakonda in Warangal recorded seven new cases, the highest outside the GHM limit.
