Patna: Overall 18 people including one from Nepal captured and six little girls including those from Assam, West West and Jharkhand were saved from houses in Boha Teach in Sitamarhi City after a night attack on Thursday night.
The little girl was saved, the age of almost 14 years to 17 years old, had been traded and was being used in meat trade carried out by a group of people in the area organized.
Sitamarhi SP Harkishore Rai said that the Delhi-based Aditi NGO has provided a tip-off to the police after the attack was carried out in the DSP leadership (head office) Raj Narayan Singh in several houses used as a brothel.
“Of the 18 captured, five are customers.
Rest is those who run brothels.
Little girls rescued belonging to Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Patna, and one from Kishanganj,” he said.
Rai said that the girls had shifted to home residences and processes to verify their address and set contact with their family members.
Meanwhile DSP Singh said that 18 people arrested included Hina Khatoon, Nafisa Khatoon, two women named Mina Khatoon, Khatoon Payal, Zubaida Khatoon, Salma Khatoon, Mohammad Yusuf, Laddu Kumar, Sahnaz Khalifa, Pinimad, Dilip Rai, Dilip, Mohammad Mustaq , Arya Yadav (Rohtak, Nepal), Umesh Rai, Kiran Khatoon and Mohammad Talim.
He said some NGO authorities had reached from Delhi and their identity had been kept confidential for security reasons.
“One Khalifa Manzoor is the kingpin of the entire racket.
He avoids the arrest but his wife Nafisa has been arrested.
Raids was carried out at the location in 2019 and 2020 also to run a brothel,” he said.
DSP said further investigation was happening with respect to this case.
