MUZAFFARPUR: A courtroom at this north Bihar city on Friday ordered an FIR be discriminated against 18 police employees who had looted money and jewelry, valued at over Rs 50 lakh, in the home of a retired serviceman earlier this past season.
Additional main judicial magistrate Nayan Kumar passed the order on a request filed by Haridwar Prasad Thakur, a resident of Rasulpur neighborhood, who had headed for instructions to the police station involved.
Thakur, who’s served in the army, alleged that on February 22, the police employees had barged into his house stating they were looking every home in the area since they had info regarding liquor stashed from the area.
