Surat: A 18-feet-long carcass of a whale washed ashore in Malvan near Nargol Shore in Valsad on Wednesday.
Forest officials weren’t able to verify the species of the whale because the carcass was discovered at a badly celiac disease. Locals seen the carcass early on Wednesday and alerted both the woods officials. Crowds from neighboring villages have accumulated in the place to observe the enormous carcass. At the recent years that the carcass of a tiger was found on the shore of Malvan. In years past carcasses of whales and dolphins have been located on shores of Valsad, Navsari and Surat. In 2013 the carcass of a tiger was seen in river Tapi.
