Rajkot: A 18-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh who tried to commit suicide in a Jamnagar district village a few days ago was saved by the Abhayam team.
The woman left her house in Madhya Pradesh after fighting her husband.
The Abhayam team got a call from a social worker on December 16 told that a woman tried to end her life by jumping into a well in Samana Taluka Jamjodhpur village.
When the Abhayam team reached the village and advising the woman it was revealed that she was a native of Madhya Pradesh.
He had a dispute with her husband, followed what he went to his parents’ house.
After fighting with his mother, the woman left her place too.
Everywhere to go, the woman reached the village even though she didn’t know anyone here.
The Abhayam team shifted the woman to Sakhi-One Stop Center to take refuge where she was undergoing counseling.
