Letter: An 18-year-old young man was arrested for selling a SIM card that had been activated in the Pandesara letter on Friday.
Special Operations Group (SOG) Police acted on tip-off and arrested Vishal Sharma, native residents of Uttar Pradesh and Lakshminagar residents in Pandesara and confiscated 11 SIM cards that had been activated from him.
According to the police, Sharma is used to sell SIM cards at a higher level for people who do not have valid ID evidence.
During the main interrogation, Sharma told the police that he worked as a sales agent for telecommunications majors such as VI and Airtel and produced Rs 9,000 per month.
Because he can’t get enough for his needs, he uses customer documents to get an additional SIM card activated.
He sells pre-active cards at a higher rate to people who do not have adequate documentation.
The police said they were investigating about people who had bought a SIM card that had been activated from Sharma.
