Mumbai: The Maharashtra cabinet on Thursday approved a proposal to rent a room nearly 18,000 square feet on the first floor of the Central Telegraph Office (CTO) in South Mumbai for the use of the Bombay High Court.
Space rent has been repaired at Rs 397 per SQ FT per month and the total cost of 13 crore per year is also approved.
Of the total cost, Rs 10.11 Crore is a recurring cost and RS 2.14 Crore is a cost that is not repetitive.
The cabinet also agreed to an increase in leases by 5 percent per year and the agreement will be signed with BSNL for the same thing.
The Bombay High Court has fallen from the room and has asked the country for alternative space.
